Refer a strata, get a month free
When a strata council or strata manager you refer becomes a paying member, your next membership invoice is reduced by one month. There is no limit on how many people you tell, and up to twelve free months a year.
How it works

Share your link
Your personal referral link is on your dashboard. Send it by email, include it in a newsletter, or read out the eight-character code at the end of it; they can type strataminutes.ca/r/ followed by the code.

They start their free month
They start a membership through your link, as usual with the first month free. Nothing happens for you yet.

They become a paying member, and you get a month free
When their first payment goes through after their free month, a credit is added to your account and comes off your next membership invoice automatically. We email you when it happens.
What you receive
One month of your own membership for each person who becomes a paying member through your link.

A credit is never more than one month of your plan, one month of theirs, or what they actually paid for their first month, whichever is least. Credits come off future membership invoices and have no cash value.
Who can take part
- You: any member who pays for their own membership, including during your free month.
- The people you refer: strata councils and strata managers starting their first StrataMinutes membership.
Managers on a company seat: referral credits go to members who pay for their own membership. When your company pays for your seat, you are welcome to share StrataMinutes, but no credit is earned. Company accounts already include volume pricing.
Rules
- A credit is earned when the person referred makes their first payment after their free month. If they cancel during their free month, no credit is earned.
- The person referred must start their membership through your link, in the same browser, within 60 days of following it. The most recent link they followed is the one that counts.
- Each new member can be referred once. Returning members, and memberships you start for yourself, do not count.
- Referring yourself is not allowed, including under a different email address or with the same payment card.
- You can earn up to twelve credits in any twelve months.
- You need an active membership when the credit is earned. Credits come off your future membership invoices automatically, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred.
- If a payment that earned a credit is refunded, we may remove the credit.
- We may change or end the referral program with notice on this page. Credits already earned are honoured.
